Role Overview
We are looking for a Founding CTO to build the technical foundation of FredGPT, a psychiatric grade AI system designed to help users break self sabotaging patterns and rebuild their emotional, financial, and behavioral lives. This is not just a job. It is a chance to create the most emotionally intelligent AI system ever built.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the full technical roadmap
- Build a memory first system that evolves with each user
- Integrate personalization, behavior modeling, and structured decision logic
- Partner directly with the founder and head of product to align vision and execution
- Develop a working MVP and prepare for growth
- Hire and lead engineering talent over time
Requirements
- Strong experience in system architecture, backend engineering, or applied AI
- Familiarity with LLM systems or personalization engines
- Track record of building early stage products
- Passion for mental health, human behavior, or emotional tech
- Desire to be a true cofounder, not just a technical lead
